Zzeus is a Berlin-based startup focused on bringing the hospitality industry into the digital age. Their powerful white-label web app offers a range of features, including coronavirus check-ins, digital menus, customer feedback tools, staff time tracking, and shift scheduling. The platform gathers extensive data to provide restaurateurs with insights that were previously unattainable.
I began working with Zzeus early in the coronavirus pandemic, with my first major project being the design and launch of their COVID check-in feature. This digital solution replaced paper-based contact tracing forms and was rapidly developed, designed and built within one week, ready in time for the reopening of the hospitality industry in Germany. It was successfully adopted by several Subway chains across the country.
I was responsible for designing the entire user experience and user interface of the Zzeus web app. This involved creating a cohesive system that seamlessly connected two key sides of the platform: one side for restaurateurs to manage their business and access valuable data, and the other for guests to interact with features while dining.
